Main objective

Evaluate and compare in general practice the level of prescription for platelet monitoring of patients receiving Arixtra® 2.5 mg (fondaparinux sodium) or an LMWH (low-molecular-weight heparin) in venous thromboprophylaxis.

Inclusion criteria

• Patient of at least 18 years of age
• Bedridden patient or with reduced mobility
Patient for whom a treatment via ARIXTRA® 2.5 mg or an LMWH is initiated within the framework of venous thromboprophylaxis

Main objective

Describe and compare the burden of acute respiratory infections (IRA) linked to influenza virus, in terms of morbidity and medical consumption, according to the vaccinal status, in those 65 years and older spontaneously consulting in general practice

Inclusion criteria

• Patient aged 65 years or older
• Patient having an acute respiratory infection defined as a clinical presentation combining the abrupt appearance of respiratory signs (coughing, rhinitis, coryza) in the context of acute infection (fever, asthenia, headache, myalgia, etc.), in less than 48h.

• For patients 80 years and older, the clinical presentations can associate other general signs (mental confusion, dehydration, anorexia, digestive disorders, general malaise, body aches, headache) and respiratory signs (from rhinitis to pneumopathy)

Main objective

describe the effects on the fasting glucose at 1 month for main methods of education of type-2 diabetes patients during the initiation of insulin therapy in general practice

Inclusion criteria

man or woman, over the age of 18 years, having a type-2 diabetes responding to the criteria of HAS (French National Authority for Health), treated with oral diabetes medication at the maximum dose (or maximum tolerated dose where applicable), having needed the adding of a basal insulin initiated since at least 1 month and no more than 6 months (+ 1 week) before inclusion, reviewed 1 month after the initiation of insulin, during a routine visit in the framework of following his or her diabetes, accepting to participate in the study after information given by the observing doctor.
